Access belongs in the design

Accessibility

TREADBOUND aims for a calm, readable experience that works without a mouse and remains useful across screen sizes and assistive technology.

Testing posture reviewed September 1, 2026

Target

Our standard

We use WCAG 2.2 Level AA as the working target. This is a design and testing commitment, not a claim of formal certification.

Current evidence

What has been checked

Automated testing found a strong baseline for headings, landmarks, labels, alternative text, focus visibility, reduced motion, reflow, and form status. Manual checks cover keyboard use, 320 px reflow, 200% zoom, and representative long chapters before public site releases.

Known limitation

What still needs testing

The complete site has not been certified through a full real-device screen-reader study. Long illustrated chapters are the most demanding pages, so their compact navigation, reading order, tables, and image descriptions receive continuing review.
